As a leading European garage door, gate, door, and fence manufacturer, WIŚNIOWSKI continues to engage in growing the industry. As a member of the European Door and Shutter Federation (EDSF), it was a co-host of a two-day conference organised for manufacturers from all over Europe. The conference was held at the Heron***** hotel in Sienna in early July and focused on new possibilities of product development and communicating information about product properties.
Bringing together many companies from the manufacturing industry, EDSF is a fast-growing association and a leader in the product development sector. Its role is to build awareness about creating safe and reliable solutions that comply with the applicable European and national regulations. Safety and quality are currently the key topics in the industry, raised at each stage of design and manufacture.
On the first day of the congress, its attendees had the opportunity to visit the production facility of the WIŚNIOWSKI company, the largest manufacturer in the region, continuously enhancing its position in various markets. This vast experience not only allows the company to show how important quality is to the manufacturer, but also to demonstrate that the production process planned to the minutest detail plays a crucial role. After the visit, the guests attended the conference, where discussions were held in individual thematic groups. Among other things, the issues of product servicing and maintenance were raised. The subject is very important, as currently, not even a third of all the installed garage doors and gates are inspected by specialist companies. Other topics included energy consumption and fire-rated products, and new communication opportunities to facilitate customer access to information about available solutions were planned. The attendees discussed the importance of marketing and servicing high standard products. The conference also served to renew business relationships and to hone knowledge on the subjects dedicated to specific product groups. It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange information and experience related to customer service, product development, and general topics concerning production in line with European standards.
