Poland is soon to host the Euro 2012, the European Football Championship. Many stadiums had to be thoroughly upgraded. One of these is the Legia Warsaw stadium, seen by many as the exemplary sport facility. In renovating the stadium, a particular emphasis was placed on safety and the facility internal communication. WI¦NIOWSKI doors used in that project are ideal to meet the UEFA and FIFA demanding standards.
The Legia stadium in Warsaw is among the most functional sport facilities in Poland and even Europe. Its high standards are seen at every step. State-of-the-art stand construction, comfortable seats, perfect catering facilities, fitness club, and a rehabilitation centre. The stadium for 31 thousand was quite a challenge in terms of safety, so it was decided to use top materials and fittings. WI¦NIOWSKI profile steel doors lately installed there meet the demanding requirements of world football associations. They unite safety and ultramodern design.
Over 100 safe entrances
Stadium safety was the most important task of the architects. Passageways at the stadium were designed with precision to ensure free flow of thousands of people. The passages then had to be fitted with the doors in quality and safety terms consistent with the UEFA and FIFA demanding criteria. The investor chose the WI¦NIOWSKI profile steel doors. In implementing that project, over a 100 hinged doors were used in both single and double leaf versions. Closed steel profiles welded together are strong structures, resistant to mechanical damage and, at the same time, meet high aesthetical criteria. The joints are ground and polished, which is why the structure has a smooth and harmonious look. The application of this technology increases durability parameters, so the doors may be used more intensively. Modern anticorrosive techniques also protect them from detrimental UV radiation and weather conditions. Anticorrosive coatings are applied to steel profiles first cleaned by the jet-blasting method for solid protection. State-of-the-art technology line to prime surfaces with clearcoat and then apply powder-coating is what guarantees top quality product, which is confirmed by a 5 year warranty for anticorrosive coating.
Safety and design top standards
UEFA and FIFA are very restrictive in matters of safety, hence WI¦NIOWSKI door fittings and additional elements were chosen to meet these requirements. The stadium is a place for mass entertainment, so antipanic fittings had to be used to open the doors quickly and safely in case the facility has to be evacuated promptly. Both fittings and handles are made of stainless steel to not just improve quality, but aesthetic value of the doors. Moreover, the selection of the aluminium neutral colour (RAL 9006) emphasizes the facility modern look. Doors in that colour, fitted with safety glass panels, are a neutral element in the exterior design and adapt ideally to a modern climate of the place. We created several dozen structure patterns to offer you countless compiling options to build unique fences and satisfy individual tastes. Now, in addition to the well-established Classic, Style, Premium and Lux systems, we have added a new one.
Minimalistic form on the one hand, and a very classic line of the system on the other hand – is a perfect option to those who seek simple and interesting solutions.
The new construction is based on the 20x20 mm closed profiles butt-joint welded on 30x18 mm profile crossbars. The profiles may be pointed with the ABS sphere- or pyramid-shaped heads.
The mixture of system elements’ geometry and delicate, stylized decorative motifs elements, diverse arch lines and attractive toppings provide even more potential to create a unique and an outstanding design.
All fencing system elements by WI¦NIOWSKI are rust-protected with best anticorrosive coating in hot dip galvanising. Polyester powder coating offers an additional protection.

We finally introduced frameless glass doors and partitions in the new aluminium and steel joinery price-list.
It’s no secret that fancy and bright spaces have become signs of the modern architecture. Glass walls and doors surfaces go a long way to meet this demand and have become part of new trends. By using them, rooms may be physically divided in such a way that light access is not limited to use space more effectively.
In addition to WI¦NIOWSKI frameless glass partitions and doors functional benefits, they are a unique decoration to adapt to any interior. This is due to many available forms. We use all available methods of glass decoration: from a complete or partial surface sandblasting, through cold grinding to deep carving, with which we may provide the 3D effect. Another decoration motif we use is fusing Svarovsky crystals into the glass surface. The next avant garde technology is laminating with fabric materials, wallpapers or even photographs chosen by the Client. In the end, we get a unique door design.Doorknobs and handles customised to individual Client needs are another decorative element.
Because of safety glass we apply, WI¦NIOWSKI frameless glass doors and partitions may be used practically everywhere. We produce all our swinging, sliding and hinger doors, as well as fixed and mobile partitions from glass only. And all top quality too.

Sectional doors in natural wood colours hit the bigtime with our customers and now we have new possibilities for you: doors in more wood-grain and Renolit and gates in Hornschuch colours for true connoisseurs.
Our sectional doors colour range was expanded by even more wood-grain hues of the exotic Sapeli mahogany and the exquisite Siena. These colours fit to the veneers window producers use, so all door and window joinery elements make a perfect match.
We more and more seek non-standard solutions in how our surroundings look like.For those who wish to emphasize their house architecture we propose sectional doors in new, original colours: dark green, creamy, grey anthracite, silver grey, silver "brushed aluminium" look.

When we plan our fence, we are keen as early as in the drafting phase to see for ourselves how would it look like. This is why we created AW Expert, the only software in its kind to support fence design and repair.
AW Expert software taps on years of designing and building fences by WI¦NIOWSKI company. The software was made for our business partners. Its key ideas are design transparency and, most importantly, an intuitive menu. A professional fence design is ready in minutes. AW Expert may be used to design a fence right at the Client’s; the Seller visits you, takes measurements and develops a number of design variants. A design hardcopy may be used for visualisation and as an attachment to be filed with competent authorities, or a construction design to be used by workers.
An option to make changes and amendments without having to re-draft makes it easy to customize fences to any premises, requirements, and spatial concepts. Seamless steel burglarproof fire doors, class 2 and 3 |

 Seamless steel fire doors (EI30 and EI60) are also offered in 2nd and 3rd burglary resistance class. These doors are offered in single leaf or double leaf, plain or glazed versions.
In case of class 2 doors, we generally use two locks with MCM ASS cylinder inserts, and glazing is made of burglar-proof glass (P4 rated). The burglar-proof class 3 steel fire doors possess three locks with MCM ASS cylinder inserts. They are glazed with class P5 burglar-proof glass.Steel fire doors may be offered in smoke tight version, if provided with Igloo Da1001 type dropping strips. |
