Fire prevention requirements
One of the basic requirements provided for in the construction law is fire safety. Compliance with these requirements is equivalent to limiting the occurence and the spread of fire inside the building and on neighbouring buildings as well as giving people the possibility of leaving the building. This brings the necessity to create special fire zones in the building with the use of fire barriers which prevent fire from spreading.
