The AirKey system enables AC management over the Internet.
An online module helps determine who has AC credentials, when to assign them, and for how long. You can also revoke the AC credential in a flash or verify the access history per specific users.
AirKey supports all popular web browsers and Android devices. The AirKey mobile app keeps your master key with you at all times. The AirKey can be used to program other AC media, like proximity cards or key fobs.
An access control (AC) system is a system of interconnected electronic and mechanical devices the operation of which is intended to secure certain zones or rooms against unauthorized entry. The AC system can identify and record any access-related event (times, entry operations, entering individuals and key types used).
AirKey is a wirelesses system comprising several actuators, including an electronic lock cylinder (with one or two-side access) and AC credentials media (cards and keyfobs) which are the system access keys. A single card or keyfob can operate an unlimited number of linked lock cylinders.
The AC credentials are exchanged over NFC and RFID to unlock a secured lock cylinder when a recognised AC credentials medium is placed within 20 to 30 [mm] from it. All system components are programmed with either of two tools. The first one is a code station, wired to a PC computer which runs the system management application. The other tool is an NFC-enable smartphone. In the other case, connecting the smartphone with any WiFi network or enabling its GPRS data transmission turns the device into a code station. The smartphone-based system management requires installing the AirKey app on the device.
Reading the AC events history is simple: just activate the required function and put your smartphone near the AC lock cylinder. This is also how you upload new AC credentials to the lock cylinder or download the events history.
KeyCredit is a credit balance required for approving data modifications in the system. The only management operations which require a KeyCredit balance is creating and modifying the AC credentials. Purging AC credentials media and deleting AC credentials of system users is free of KeyCredit charge. This way you only pay for what you need.
A smartphone is a core component of the AC system which binds all system devices. You don't need any other operating devices. Your smartphone lets you grant new AC credentials, encode AC cards, delete lost access keys, update the lock cylinder firmware, download events history logs, upload an access blacklist or simply open a system-enabled door.
You do not have to enter a secured room or even open the door to block unauthorized user access rights. Simply remove their AC credentials and put the smartphone near the lock cylinder. It gets even better - you don't even have to be on site! You can grant maintenance access rights (without door unlocking and history reading rights) remotely to any user with an NFC-enable smartphone to have them update the blacklist.
