As part of our preparations for yet another demanding year, we visited Nuremberg and the Perimeter Protection trade fair, which is dedicated to products supporting the protection of properties and buildings. What could our guests see at the WIŚNIOWSKI stand?

Yet another year in WIŚNIOWSKI's history is drawing to an end. It was a very special time for us – focused on the company's 30th anniversary – filled with significant events that will impact the coming decades of its operation. Which ones are sure to linger in our memory?

The Paysalia trade fair came to an end as the last one in this year’s calendar of events during which we showcased WIŚNIOWSKI products. It is the perfect moment to sum up not only the trade fair in Lyon, but also the entire year throughout which we displayed our products at sector meetings all over Europe.

The Batimat 2019 trade fair was the first event summing-up the busy year – brimming with product news, innovations, and development in the spirit of Industry 4.0. During the Paris exhibition, our stand became the centre for discussing the current state and the future of the construction sector.

At the beginning of November, yet another edition of the international BATIMAT trade fair will be held in Parc des Expositions de Villepinte in Paris. It is a major event for the construction sector and customers looking for ideas and inspiration for their projects. During the BATIMAT trade fair, guests from all over the world will have the opportunity to also see our products.

One of the most important construction trade fairs in Northern Europe – BYGG REIS DEG – will be held between 16 and 19 October. Each year, the exhibition attracts major players in the construction sector, who present their products to thousands of visitors. WIŚNIOWSKI products will also be displayed in Lillestrøm.

Infoprogetto is a series of events for architects where they can learn about new tools, solutions, and products which might considerably facilitate their work. During a recent meeting in the Italian city of Brescia, our representative had the opportunity to talk about projects created by WIŚNIOWSKI with architects in mind, among others.

On 1 August 2019, we celebrated our 30th anniversary. On this momentous occasion, we invited journalists to our plant in Wielogłowy in order to show them what made us a company recognized and valued all over Europe. We are an innovator in our sector, with an ultramodern machinery park, where we manufacture garage doors, gates, windows, doors, and fences. In the evening, we held a ceremonial gala event for invited guests at the Heron Live Hotel in Sienna, where the brand creator, Andrzej Wiśniowski, outlined the company's investment plans for the coming years.

On 1 August, we celebrate our 30th anniversary. It all began in the summer of 1989, when Andrzej Wiśniowski envisioned a power-operated, remote-controlled garage door, which revolutionized the market. Product customization has become a distinctive feature of our brand, making it possible for the customer to get exactly what they need. It remains so to this day. Our customers can customize their garage doors, gates, windows, doors, and fences knowing that they are choosing the highest quality, comfort, and security.

The only thing that is constant is change. Each year, our broad joinery range is supplemented with more products which meet our customers’ new needs. WIŚNIOWSKI’S latest MOTO drive unit powered by Somfy has just debuted on the market. It is an important project, which has already received the TopBuilder award in the “Product of the Year 2019” category. MOTO is not just a product, but a symbol of the changed approach in the home products sector. 

The Medal of the Centenary of Regained Independence honours the efforts of all the Polish citizens who actively worked to strengthen Polish independence within the last hundred years. By the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, the medal was awarded to Andrzej Wiśniowski, the founder and owner of the WIŚNIOWSKI brand. This honour is a form of recognition of the contribution of Polish entrepreneurs who have been building the image of Poland as an ambitious and trustworthy country over the last several decades.

We have launched another sports partnership in Norway. Our logo can already be found on the uniforms of the Vipers women’s handball team, and now the name of our brand will also accompany the FK JERV football club, which has just inaugurated a new football season. “This is yet another step in building awareness of our brand in Norway”, said Dymitr Chażowiec, Sales Director for Eastern Europe and Scandinavia at Wiśniowski.

Professional business activities require professional solutions. An incomplete product that is still in the works or shows weak areas will simply not cut it. Garage doors are frequently a decisive factor enabling the company to run smoothly. The “lesser of two evils” is just not the way to go. The construction sector is a significant part of all of the world’s developed economies. Companies operating in this industry deal in large sums of money that constitute an incredibly important element of national investments – they support market development and economic growth. Therefore, the construction sector faces many challenges and opportunities. Dedicated trade fairs are an important growth factor. The most important event of this type in Italy is the MADE expo in Milan. There, representatives of the sector discuss the future, as well as technological and design trends, and share their past experiences. This year’s edition was yet another one attended by our brand.

Business and sport are not as far apart as they may seem. In both cases, success is based on hard work, ambition, and good teamwork. The closeness of these ideas is perfectly illustrated by our cooperation with one of the best women’s handball teams in Norway, Vipers Kristiansand.
