The Archiproducts international competition jury awarded a WISNIOWSKI façade door in the Building Shell category. Archiproducts Design Awards are granted for world-class achievements in the field of design.
ADA’s mission is to honour originality and innovative talent of designers from across the globe. Each year, more than 700 submissions are sent in for the competition. The 2022 Archiproducts Design Awards jury is an international group of highly regarded architects, designers, journalists, architecture photographers, and creative directors. This year, the jury recognized the creative concept and the functional strength of a WISNIOWSKI design, the MakroPro 2.0 ELH sectional garage door, designed for a custom infill.
MakroPro 2.0 ELH – a show starring a garage door
MakroPro 2.0 ELH is a revolution in thinking about design. The ELH blends with the building façade, creating a visual effect that is perfect in every detail. The leaf of the façade door can be infilled with any façade finishing material. The front covered with tiles, slate or plastic panels? The ELH gate allows you to turn even the boldest architectural visions into reality. This kind of solution provides new possibilities for architects and investors who value originality.
A custom design guarantees uniqueness in the final effect. When the door is closed, its leaf creates a uniform surface with the façade. The rather sizeable garage door is nearly impossible to notice. MakroPro 2.0 ELH becomes visible only when we decide to open it. The process is a true spectacle – as though the building wall was suddenly bending and hiding inside. It really does look impressive.

Broad customization options – unique design and stable structure
How far can you go when creating your own façade garage door? The door leaf may have a surface area even up to 20 m². The maximum thickness of the infill material is 4 cm. Importantly, the door may be installed in buildings without thermal insulation or with thermal insulation with insulation thickness ranging from 70 to 220 mm.
The façade door was fitted with our proprietary thermal insulation kit. ThermoSet™ is a special insulation gasket system. The kit guarantees higher resistance to weather conditions, protecting the building from heat loss.

A garage door for a custom infill is a concept based on industrial solutions, yet thanks to its dimensional range and the individual design process, it may also be installed in private buildings.
