SECTIONAL DOORS PRIME Intended use: An exclusive generation of sectional doors is available as standard with the Metro Smart io drive unit version 800 or 1000 or the SPARK drive unit version 600, 800, or 1100, selected depending on the door dimensions. The structure is made of galvanized and powder coated elements. The door leaf is made of new generation INNOVO panels, 60 mm thick. The door includes circumferential gaskets, as well as a double bottom gasket. The door is fitted with a safe torsion spring system and a number of safety devices for mechanical elements. GARAGE DOORS THERMAL INSULATION The PRIME garage door is all about thermal insulation, which makes it a recommended choice for energy efficient and even passive buildings. In order to achieve outstanding thermal insulation properties, a low thermal thermal transmittance factor is required. The PRIME door takes full advantage of the INNOVO panel properties to eliminate heat loss in all the critical areas. EXCEPTIONAL SAFETY Safety systems focus on minimizing all traces of risk. DESIGN The PRIME garage door reflects both functionality and exceptional beauty. It opens vertically up- wards and does not take up any space in the driveway. The load-bearing structure and the tracks are made of galvanized steel elements powder coated in RAL 9002 or RAL 9005 in the Black Edition. Side jambs of the frame are fitted with gaskets, against which the door leaf abuts in the closed position. The door is fitted with double guiding sliding rollers with bearings, which ensure proper guiding of the door leaf, while a dedicated profile of the tracks prevents derailing. As standard, the door is supplied with powder-coated suspension bars, which make it possible to install the tracks up to 400 mm away from the ceiling. The weight of the leaf is perfectly balanced thanks to the use of a tor- sion spring system installed in the front part of the door by the lintel on a steel, galvanized shaft. Springs are preselected with computer preci- sion and guarantee the best balancing of the door, maximum comfort, and safety of use. The PRIME garage doors are available only in the automatic version with the METRO Smart io drive unit in the 800 and 1000 versions (with a transmission rail with a quiet toothed belt as standard) or with the SPARK drive unit in the 600, 800, and 1100 versions selected de- pending on the door dimensions. Standard accessories also include an auxiliary safety system. The kit includes the following features: • locking of the drive carriage to the running rail for the METRO Smart io drive unit, or the LOCK electromagnetic motor lock for the SPARK drive unit – in the closed position, it guarantees additional locking and protection against the door leaf being prised open, • backup power supply battery ensuring emergency operation of the drive when the main power supply is unavailable. The doors are made of panels with a special profile that prevents fin- gers from getting crushed. Large dimension doors are additionally re- inforced with special elements that increase the rigidity of the entire structure. Door panels are coated with high quality polyester paints. This provides optimum protection against the weather conditions and ensures many years of operation. As standard, the PRIME door is fitted with vertical track covers, moving roller and guide covers, integrated shaft and torsion spring cover, side shaft covers, as well as flexible internal panel joint covers. The door is also fitted as standard with optical safety devices, such as photocells and external optical sensors. In order to achieve this, it was necessary to achieve an exceptionally low thermal transmittance factor. The PRIME takes full advantage of the thermal insulation properties of the INNOVO panels and their sealing solutions to eliminate heat losses in the crucial areas of the door curtain. The U factor of the INNOVO panel is as low as 0.33 W/m2K, which translates into thermal insulation of the entire garage door. All doors painted in any RAL palette colour (excluding: pearlescent, reflective and metallic colours), coated with a semi-mat effect varnish.
