PRESTO 50 double-leaf doors

– single-chamber steel sections without a thermal break based on the Forster Presto system. Both the opening frame and the door leaf are made of sections 1.5 [mm] thick. The sections are joined by welding.

– as standard, the active leaf features 1-point bolting – a flush-mounted lock for So ≤ 2,500 and Ho ≤ 2,500 [mm]. Additionally, in doors with So > 2,500 or Ho > 2500 [mm], as well as on the customer’s request, an additional top deadbolt is fitted. The passive leaf features 2-point bolting (top + bottom) actuated with a rotating lever.

– the door is fitted with welded steel hinges with bearings (non-adjustable). The welded hinge connection with the opening frame ensures robust fixation, and eliminates leaf dropping and the need to adjust the leafs.

– the door is sealed along the entire circumference with hopper gaskets. The gaskets are installed on the inside of the leaf, which ensures the required tightness and noise dampening. The tightness of the door is guaranteed by additional panel joint seals.

– the opening frame, in all dimensions, is screwed and delivered in two parts + threshold. The opening frame features holes for direct fitting with anchors.

– all the steel parts are powder-coated. Steel surfaces are processed by abrasive blasting before powder coating. Powder coating is applied in two layers: a priming base coat and a decorative topcoat. The leaf frame, the opening frame, and the shutter infills are painted on both sides in the same colour. The door is infilled from the inside with a sectional panel in white, similar to RAL 9002.

– panels made of 40 [mm] steel sheet galvanized and coated with polyester paint on both sides, infilled with polyurethane foam.

– a protective film is applied to the leaf for transport (protection from dust and dirt).

Woodgrain – structure imitating the natural grain of wood. Smoothgrain – smooth structure with micro embossing. Sandgrain – fine sand structure. Silkline – smooth structure.
